Wildcrafted Murumuru Butter - astrocaryum murumuru
Suitable for all skin (even acneic) and hair types, this rich, unrefined butter
naturally smells like sweet fudge. It's known as 'vegetable silicone,'
lending a wonderful, completely non-greasy skin feel to the skin. High in

Aspen Bark Extract - populus tremuloides

The bark of the Aspen tree is rich in salicylates, the plant’s natural defense mechanism against parasites. While it helps soften and cleanse skin, it is naturally effective at inhibiting the growth of E. coli, S. aureus, B. subtilis, P. aeuruginosa, yeast, and mold, making it a suitable co-preservative. The only solvent used for extraction is water.
Elderberry Fruit Extract - sambucus nigra

Also used in food flavorings, elderberry extract resists microbial contamination and controls microbial growth, as well as offers antioxidant and conditioning benefits to the skin, due to the high concentration of phenolics, anthocyanins, and flavonols.
Leuconostoc Ferment Filtrate

Leuconostoc kimchi is one of 15 species of microorganisms typically associated with the process of food fermentation to preserve food. This ferment filtrate contains intact, non-viable microorganisms, and has shown a wide range of utility as a skin conditioner and antimicrobial agent for cosmetic and personal care product formulations, making it the perfect co-preservative.
