Wildcrafted Murumuru Butter - astrocaryum murumuru

Suitable for all skin (even acneic) and hair types, this rich, unrefined butter

naturally smells like sweet fudge. It's known as 'vegetable silicone,'

lending a wonderful, completely non-greasy skin feel to the skin. High in

lauric acid, murumuru butter is prized for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory,

deeply moisturizing, and soothing properties. It can help with acneic skin,

Schisandra Berry Extract - schisandra chinesis

Gotu Kola Leaf Extract - centella asiatica

Considered a nootropic, this herbal extract is effective in improving treatment

of small wounds, burns, psoriasis, and scleroderma. It promotes fibroblast

proliferation and increases the synthesis of collagen and intracellular

fibronectin content, improving tensile strength of newly formed skin,

as well as inhibiting the inflammatory phase of hypertrophic scars and keloids.

Research results indicate that it can be used in the treatment of photoaging skin,

Bilberry Fruit Extract - vaccinium myrtillus

Moth Bean Extract - vigna aconitifolia

Alcohol-extracted

 

Serving as a botanical alternative to retinol, without photo-sensitizing or

irritating side effects, this extract stimulates collagen and epidermal

cellular renewal. When used at similar levels in cosmetic applications,

the extract itself has demonstrated efficacy comparable to that of retinol.

Additionally, the constituents of phenolic compounds, such as caffeic acid,

ferulic acid, cinnamic acid, and kaempefrol, provide this extract with

Black Cumin Seed CO2 - nigella sativa

This highly nutritive oil contains over one hundred identified nutrients, and a high content of polyunsaturated essential fatty acids - omega-3, -6, and -9. Its component thymoquinone is a powerful antioxidant.

Aspen Bark Extract - populus tremuloides 

Water-Soluble Preservative

 

The bark of the Aspen tree is rich in salicylates, the plant’s natural defense mechanism against parasites. While it helps soften and cleanse skin, it is naturally effective at inhibiting the growth of E. coli, S. aureus, B. subtilis, P. aeuruginosa, yeast, and mold, making it a suitable co-preservative. The only solvent used for extraction is water.

Elderberry Fruit Extract - sambucus nigra

Also used in food flavorings, elderberry extract resists microbial contamination and controls microbial growth, as well as offers antioxidant and conditioning benefits to the skin, due to the high concentration of phenolics, anthocyanins, and flavonols. 

Leuconostoc Ferment Filtrate

Water-Soluble Preservative

Leuconostoc kimchi is one of 15 species of microorganisms typically associated with the process of food fermentation to preserve food. This ferment filtrate contains intact, non-viable microorganisms, and has shown a wide range of utility as a skin conditioner and antimicrobial agent for cosmetic and personal care product formulations, making it the perfect co-preservative.
